Delivery 4 - Madison County
Marshall & surrounding Madison County continue to be in our in our hearts and awareness. Upon receiving urgent clean-up needs on evening of Oct 8, we immediately sourced supplies, loaded Scott’s truck and he delivered by early afternoon Oct. 9.
Delivery 5 - Avery County
Evan reached out to the Avery County Fire Department to assess the community's needs as colder weather approached. Due to its higher elevation, Avery County faces a pressing need for heating supplies because many rural residents won’t be getting electricity back for a while. In response, we loaded Evan's truck with over 160 pounds of propane, heaters, and warm clothing to help residents stay warm. While there, Evan also took the opportunity to clear debris from key roads that had been blocked by fallen trees.
